I almost feel bad for the Ducks... if they spent some of their almost 10M in cap space on a goalie and didn't go dumpster diving for Penner followed up by Heatley they may actually make a run in the playoffs....

Less then 50 games of XP for goalies on a team looking to make the playoffs... man....

I get the feeling that if the Ducks struggle in goal we may see Marty in a Ducks sweater.

McNabb and Andreoff looked pretty good. Shore wasn't bad either

That 70s line was killing it again. Gotta leave them together.

Kings beat the Ducks in all the preseason games.
Lose all the regular season games
And win all the post season games.

I am good with that

That 70's line is amazing! That line could be pure gold this season.

I seriously hope they save some for the season! I can just imagine if they were like this all season long I can only hope! Wowsers!

We all know about Toffoli's ability to pick a corner.
but the dude has really come around on his passing...
it's always been an underrated part of his game.. but
people are starting to notice that this dude just has
all around offensive natural skill... doesn't just
come from that wicked shot of his.

Jeff Carter scores 3 goals and gets third star behind Jones and Etem? **** you Anaslime and anyone involved in that decision.

I'm not sure what your issue is. Carter should have scored on that attempt shortly after his third goal. That would have made it a four-goal night...would have given him a fighting chance at the second star slot.

Ducks trading for Kesler was def. needed for strength down the middle, but oh boy is it going to fun battling that diving diva all season.

McNabb and Regehr both nailed him pretty good pretty good and he didn't partake in his usual post whistle cross checks...he saved those for little Shore, a rookie, like a true tough guy would.

Did the Ducks retire their original post-eggplant jerseys?

Yeah, the new ones are based off the previous 3rd jersey - the away one being majority white.

I guess Anaheim just wanted to durdle around last night, so I'll give credit where credit is due, and congratulate Jeff Carter on the hat trick. Definitely should have been #1 star, Etem had no business being on that list.

Etem got the number one star for being well qualified to represent the LBC.

Does anyone have video of Regher's goal? The one recap I saw only had Carter's goals

From the OC Register

-- Slava Voynov continued his big-minutes preseason. He played 27:43, more than four minutes more than any other Kings player.

In the OT game last week he had 30. I'm guessing since he didn't have a great year last year they figure he needs all the minutes he can get but pushing almost 30 a game is a lot

That article also said that Gabby, Quick and Stoll may play in tomorrows game

I am guessing they are looking for a partner for him, so he is out there with the candidates a lot.

The Ducks also dislike seeing and hearing Kings fans attend games in Anaheim in significant numbers. Many chants of “Go Kings go” broke out on Sunday, and only some, not all, were drowned out by Ducks fans. Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano said hearing support for the Kings in Anaheim stinks — or a word similar to that — but he acknowledged that the Kings have given their fans plenty to cheer about.

Well maybe if your fan base gave a **** and didn't have the passion level of tweenage girls
