Bob is stealing the game and the russians are lucky. Probably a canada hater

Why would I hate Canada for? as Finnish descent I should politically hate team Russia

Doesn't occur to you I might be prone to be more objective here?

Dont think so...first Canada had an edge, second Russia had the edge...as a neutral is great to watch

Russia had the edge for 4 minutes out of 40. They came on strong towards the end, but they had been dominated for 35 minutes. So many missed chances could easily be 6-2.

The problem with just looking at the shot count is that the Russians are getting good quality shots and the fact that they are a team full of snipers

Not tonight and that is what will concern Russian coaches many of there shots are not quality shots.

TC needs to stop getting cute with their passes. Against a goalie that is stopping everything he sees you have to just throw it on net and good things might happen.

Its worth nothing that TC isnt getting a lot of push down the left side from the defensemen. The first goal was partially on Bouwmeester that led to a perfectly placed shot by Kucherov, and the second was laziness from Burns/Pietrangelo that resulted in a goal created from poor defense.

But the score is 2-2 so far. This is what matters the most. We've got a game.

What are you watching if you don't think Bob is stealing this game right now? Canada has been outplayed Russia as far as skaters are concerned.

He's been solid but I don't think he's actually stealing the game. Canadians generating a lot of chances that either are to the outside, don't end up on the tape, or get blocked by the Russian D.

Canada has also had some lapses in defensive coverage and the Russians have looked dangerous in Canada's end.

what happend to Price? He only allowed 3 goals during the entire Sochi tournament and I bet he's going to let in at least 3 goals in this game by the look of it (Yes I'm making a lot of comparisons to 2014 currently).

I still remember when Luongo got thrown under the bus despite winning the gold in 2010, cause that makes sense right? Oh well, I hope Price doesn't get the same treatment, but it will be interesting what the HF groupthink decides.

Glad it's a close game. I'd like to see Jay Bouwmeester win it in overtime, or something like that.

I think that's true for the shot quality against Price. But the shot quality against Bob is no joke either. He's had to make several times more high-quality stops.

Lol ok, dont let the low shot count fool you, hard to stay sharp when you have minutes without any work than have to stop a 2-1. The second goal was hardly a stinker either, **** happens.

So many posters on here are coming off as uneducated fools. Price has the hardest job in hockey right now. He doesn't see a shot in over ten minutes then all of a sudden he has a sharp shooter snapping it right past the hashmarks off the post and in. All the Russian chances have been high quality but let's blame the goalie.
