JON COOPER: "(Camp has been) very competitive. Nobody has taken a shift off, or a drill off, or anything like that. Guys are very attentive. I don't know if it's kind of the fresh faces we see here, the new guys, but from the veterans all the way down I really like everything that's gone on. I know it's just three days, but when you start getting into day 3, day 4, and kind of grinding on the guys you can see them get tired, but this group is - to be honest it feels like every day has been the first day. So I've been pretty impressed."

"Part of it too is, well the energy of the veterans coming back, but part of it is some of the guys who have actually been here for a camp or two, and you've watched some of them take steps. That's been really encouraging. You just see a hunger in a lot of these players that see potential opportunity or, if not, for sure a call up oppertunity. So that's been really good to see."

CONOR GEEKIE: "It's long, it's hard, it's not suppose to be easy, but I'm just enjoying the ride."

"I think (skating with the veteran players) you just learn no matter how bad the ice is, or how good it is, they just make plays. You strive to be like some guys. Again, it's kind of cool to look up and see who you're going against, and who you're taking a faceoff against, but it's a moment that I cherish, and I try to have fun with it."

"I'm a guy that gets pretty amped up for games if you couldn't tell already. It's just one of those things that just makes it easier. It's the rush, it's getting back into everything. Obviously you're trying to compete for a spot, so that's just another motivational thing that you can kind of take towards your game. I'm just going to enjoy the ride and see what I can do."
