Where's all the Finns at? I know you guys are out but this is Russia. These games always matter.

If Laine wasn't there, I'm not sure if I would care much. But after all, it's Russia and we have Laine who is a joy to watch.

Finland will win just like in Sochi or just like in Moscow. I have no doubt. Hoping for Laine to score. There should be no concern about the attitude. Too bad these points aren't going to clinch us.

I'll be fine with either outcome.

Team NA is crazy fun to watch but Canada-Russia is my favourite hockey rivalry.

Don't the Finns have a really good record against Russia?

Which team has the best odds against Canada?

I want to see that team move on.

Would love for Sweden to face U-23 again with fresh legs. Think that game would end up quite differently than the last one. And with Hedman without his severe charlie horse after the ****** Komarov took his legs/knees out.

I've been thinking about who I want Canada to face in the semi. It would be fun to watch Canadians playing against U23 Canadians (and Americans), especially if the lads can put up a good fight. Would be fun to see the reaction of the Canadian fans if NA eliminates them! But then again it would be strange to have 2 mock teams playing semi finals, I mean how interesting would a Europe-Canada or Sweden-NA final be? Maybe it would make more sense to have Russia advance, even though it seems like I'm fairly alone in thinking this.

Ill be cheering for Finland. I've seen Canada vs Russia thousands of times. We may never see something like this again if they eliminate team NA from the world cup.

Most likely. I doubt that we would add a 7th defenceman instead.

What I'm curious about is whether they will go with the SKA line even though that line was in fire last match in its new form.

Whole team NA gonna show up to cheer on Finland and Matthews is gonna rock a Laine jersey.

Book it.

Scheifele already offered to get Laine a massage today.

Which team has the best odds against Canada?

I would say that Russia has a better chance than the youngsters - Canada can do everything they do, but better whereas Russia could conceivably surprise them in one game being a very different style team.

Lost his spot to Teravainen. Most think Korpi should have been scratched instead.

Lost is a bit off here, since Haula has been clearly better than Teuvo. That's what happened tho. But they want to bring something new in, I guess. TT has been a big disappointment, just like team Finland overall by the results.
