The team that wins this game win's group A and will face the 2nd team in the other group (Team NA or Russia) while the team that loses tonight will face Sweden (winer of the other group) in the semifinals.
 
Canada played a very measured, heads up period. Not trying to force anything up ice.

Europe is just hoping they get impatient.

While finishing first or second doesn't seem too important...Since a date with Sweden or Russia doesn't have any obvious preference...IF they lost to Team Euro, they'd never hear the end of it...Media and fans would be like: How do u lose to a rag tag team like that?

I know they got Kopitar , Hossa, Draisaitl and such...But still
 
Thanks for the info! I knew about seeding but I thought the teams played against the other team in their pool, so I basically thought Canada and Europe were going against each other in the semis anyway. I know I should have known better! :)

Don't always agree with him, but love to watch his Shtick as I dislike political correctness... solves nothing... creates many problems...

The only thing that I question about Don is his jackets...
