Very interested to see if the NA can contain the Sedins. Contrasting styles to the extreme, Sedins are slow as hell but dangerous

Sure, hell of a battle. I bet the Canadians really feel like playing physical against their future stars. Canada not playing physical is not Canada imo.

I think that would be as close as you can get to an all-star game and it would be a sad ending to this tournament.

Maybe you're right. But otherwise it feels like the two most skilled teams overall.

But this game first...

I'm almost as worried about this game as I was for the Russia game. U23's speed is dangerous and I'm worried about fatigue after back-to-back. Oh well, Sweden has the better D and the better GK - so that makes us 2-1 in terms of advantages, yaay that.

I suddenly don't feel as confident down to 5 dman...Ekblad RH shot, Murray LH, ...with an odd number...doubtless somebody gets shifted to their less familiar side...

Well after cheering for TNA the entire tournament, I now desperately want them to lose.

Losing Backlund to concussion has instantly killed my appetite for this tournament and I want Johnny out and negotiating his contract so he can be at camp signed and healthy as soon as possible.

Also would be great to put a temporarily end to the McDavid and Matthews circle jerk.
Not sure Backlund is concussed, they are sying he is sufferin from a "soar nose" in Swedish media

Yes Im very interested to see how they deal with the puck possession of that line.

I don't know if Sweden can contain NA's speed, but I don't know if NA can deal with Sweden's puck possessing forwards either. I think Sweden will win if we see their defence play up to its potential... which hasn't been the case so far. You would think with guys like Hedman, Karlsson, and OEL they would be able to match the transition game of the kids but we'll see.

They are of course, and I may be wrong, but I just cannot see anything else than a joke of a final if it comes down to NA vs CAN. That would ruin an otherwise great tournament, but maybe it would also convince Bettman that that team was a fun idea (God knows they have been fun to watch), but a bad idea.

Being a Swede I also obviously want them to lose for other reasons...

The D was amazing against Russia...

Sweden was very underwhelming against Finland - I really hope the reason was that they tried to save some energy for tonight's game.

Hoping Team NA wins here and then Finland wins tomorrow so TNA and Sweden move on.

North america hasn't played a defense close to this one yet. huge test right here. i really have no idea what kind of score to expect here!
