It's certainly not Bias. I'm not an Oilers fan, nor a Jets or Leafs fan. I dont have a horse in that race.


Anyone who watches that line play and doesnt recognize the monumental impact McDavid is having on his linemates is the ones watching the game with a bias.

The kid is playing some of the best hockey I've ever seen. Nobody has an answer for his speed and puck skills on the other teams to this point, and because of this he's being double defended and even triple defended, opening up all kinds of room for Matthews and Scheifele when they get the puck.


Now, that's not to say they dont deserve any credit for finishing the chance McDavid is setting them up with. They're doing a solid job at that and are putting themselves in the right places. But if it weren't for McDavids play that line wouldn't be effective to the level it has been.

That PS was not weak it was a clear PS, and McDavid was held on a rush and right before Nuge's tripping penalty he was tripped himself which wasn't called.
