How is the USA "basically cooked" if Europe wins? USA can still win the final 2 games (Canada/Czech Republic). It would then be a 3 way tie with the tie breaker being goal differential. Canada would get in because they won 6-0 and likely will have a good goal differential, but USA could slaughter Czech Republic like 8-0 and end up with better goal differential.
Who chose the Team Europe logo? It looks so boring, like some generic logo included in a video game. Also the colors are awful...

Thousands for sale. No one wants to go to a game for $6 in Toronto I guess.
Yet, fans will pay $80 for a weekday snoozer with the maple leafs during regular season
It combines hockey stick and the letter E... imo good logo but true the colors are bad
Yeah, but it has just no details at all, it's just bland. Why not integrate the shape of the continent into the logo? Or the goddess for whom the continent was named? Just something! Especially compared to the detail rich crest of the Czechs it looks like absolutely no effort went into it. But whatever...
Team Europe's logo reminds me of this a bit.

Except its a shield, the stick is facing the other way and there's an inexplicable line above the stick.
Otherwise, they are both just as basic, plain and clean.
Unlike the team NA logo, which looks like bad graffiti.![]()
This was always the strangest logo for me. I mean Vancouver is weird example. Always seemed to me they never found some benchmark one. Are Canucks fans satisfied with it?
