What an entertaining game so far Compared to the snooze fest that was Russia Sweden, this game is on a different level in terms of excitement. That what sports is about, entertainment. Absolutely loving the young guns so far. Hope they make it out of the group.

IMO we've played pretty ok. Skating well and trying to make plays but the fact is our guys are getting outplayed individually. NA is a damn good team, they might just be the 2nd best team after Canada.

Lightning fast, dynamic, d-men who are used to playing 20+ mins per night and good in both ends of the rink and most importantly guys seem to be committed. Also there's the x-factor of being young, it's not a secret young guys while normally prone to mistakes (although team NA is full of experienced NHL players so even that's not an issue), have the most hunger and that's very valuble in hockey.

It feels a bit sad to say it, but U23 NA team is clearly better than our best squad. I didn't even realize how dynamic their lineup is.

I hope Canada and NA go head-to-head in the finals and NA takes it all.

Can't help to think that it must feel really odd for the canadian players in team NA if they were to meet Canada in the final, I mean how can you not want Canada to win as a canadian?

Or is this just so difference because it's the NHL is arranging this tournament and they see it differently so there are no real patriotic feelings involved?

Also McDavid belong on the Team Canada squad for sure.

I think the lack of confidence players have in Rinne might be backing up Finland all on it's own without even a push from NA. I would be uneasy as a player if my goalie was fighting it like this.

This is painfull to watch right now.

The team started well, I liked how Barkov line was skating, but after the goal it's been downhill.
We can't even challenge NA's defenseman right now, just skating around.
