While it still would have been a goal, I agree with Weekes, it impeded Neuvirths ability to get over. It should have been a goal based on the rule. There was contact, he was not pushed into the goaltender, it visibily limited Neuvirths movement.

Not sure as to why that counted.

I agree. But he wouldnt have been able to move left. Regardless of where the puck was. You could see he felt the stick and tries to move a bit.

It is what it is. Its a goal. Czech's will need to get the next one. Cant make this an easy game for Price.

I think most are injured, Jagr just didn't want to play.

Its a shame if its that many injuries. I remember hearing that 4 or 5 of their top 10 scorers in the NHL season werent there.

Jagr declined, Krecji isnt there, Hudler isnt there, Hertl etc. Now, they still would have been a major underdog, but missing 4 or 5 of their best players is a major loss for a tournament like this.
