While it still would have been a goal, I agree with Weekes, it impeded Neuvirths ability to get over. It should have been a goal based on the rule. There was contact, he was not pushed into the goaltender, it visibily limited Neuvirths movement.

Not sure as to why that counted.

At first it didn't look like much but after looking at it a couple of times i thought there was enough contact. I mean Stamkos had his stick between Neuvirth's legs when he was trying to turn around. Whether he would've got there in time or not is irrelevant, because if you're going to call this a good goal then that pretty much means having your stick between goalies legs is allowed now, which it obviously isn't the next time around. One of those calls that people will come back to.

Might as well call this Canada Cup. Not only do the best team in the tournament have the home crowd, they also get help from refs

It was not "jammed" where are you guys getting this stuff? If neuvirth knew where it was, he would've been able to move fine.
