Watching other teams shoot is depressing. This team only scores off of slick passing plays into empty nets, or garbage goals. It's been the case for years now, and legit makes no sense. Guys come here, and know how to shoot, like Panarin. And before the end of the year, it's gone.

My issue with moving Skjei is that everyone that leaves here becomes what they should have been here. I mean even as recently at Shattenkirk and Namestnicov. I'm convinced Ruff needs to leave. My first call would be to Paul MacLean who ran the d and the pp in detroit and was coach of the year in Ottawa.

I don't see how he fits here long term with Trouba locked in at his salary and tons of defense prospects in the system.

The Rangers need forward talent in the pipeline. It looks pretty bleak after Kravtsov and Chytil.

I'd rather not hand him out a big contact. Trade him while his value high and snag a good center. We'll be more than fine without him. We are screwed without getting a good center.
