I think someone is chopping onions in here.

I mean Marco we know you're Austrian, skiing isn't a hidden talent...

You have to like this pick so far, the organization was clearly very high on him. I know you were as well, but one year in Rogle then over does seem a pretty big possibility with how mature a game he plays. I mean I guess we hope we have both top 6 centers and a top pairing d-man in Rogle this year. I am a little worried Kasper and Niederbach could impact each others ice time but I guess we will have to wait and see.

I think that would be a pretty bad decision, unless they really only want him to put up huge numbers.

I suppose going to the OHL might indicate the Wings think Kasper has a legitimate shot to make the team out of Camp? They could give him nine games and then send him to Ottawa if it doesn’t work out.

I don’t like this at all. I’d rather have him in the SHL.

The only way this is true is if the team thinks that they have a really physically and defensively developed prospect and want to give him 20 minutes of ice time at center in highly offensive leaning situations. Hone the offensive game, shoot the puck 10 times a night without consequences, try to hang crooked numbers on everyone.

That would be pretty shocking if true. It seemed like everyone was pretty committed to Rogle for 1 more year. Maybe they think he can have the chance to work on his offensive side more in the OHL? And maybe they will keep him on the Wings for <9 games before sending him down there.

That is pretty wild, OHL was the last place I would expect him to go. I figured if he came to NA it was for sure AHL.

Actually really like this move if it were to happen. He potentially gets paired with another previous 1st round pick, can dominate (hopefully) as à center, will get a boat load of ice time and is closer to Detroit.
