Can't teach size.'bigger' is right
6'2 220 is brick shithouse status
YesSpeaking of, I wonder if today is pizza day?
1998 called and it wants it's draft strategy backCan't teach size.
Booth so nice they'll play him twice.Ontario D will be Kirsanov, Salin, Booth, Dvorak and Booth. They need a few more veteran AHL D men, preferably with size.
Hickett's is on an AHL deal and the captain.
Depends on your definition of underrated. Where do you rate them? What are we thinking upsides are here?Am I a homer or do the Kings have some sneaky underrated prospects??
Kirsanov, Salin, Booth, Woolley, Dvorak, Ziemmer, Chromiak, Conmy, Sluknysky, George....
Obviously no real star power in that group (other than maybe George or Sluknysky if all goes well) but definitely some players that could hit as top6 / top4 d-men or top 9 forwards.
Would love to see them draft a big center with their 2025 1st round pick if they don't end up trading it - Maybe Greentree teammate Jack Nesbitt?? 6'4 center expected to be picked in the 21-32 range.
I definitely agree with your assessments of upside for these prospects.Depends on your definition of underrated. Where do you rate them? What are we thinking upsides are here?
Kirsanov - bottom-4 two-way defenseman
Salin - bottom-pairing puck mover
Booth - bottom-4 defensive defenseman
Woolley - bottom-4 physical defenseman
Dvorak - defensive defenseman
Ziemmer - middle-six grinding forward
Chromiak - AHL scoring forward. Like Fagemo
Conmy - top-6 scoring forward
Slukynsky - starting goalie
George - starting goalie
Are you expecting anything substantially better?
I miss Voynov he was a great numero due RD on the Kings...My guy, the kid is levels above Moverare in terms of skating and all around play really. If anything, he’s a bigger Voynov with slightly less offense.. maybe
other than being Russian what on earth do the two of them have in common?!Off brand, thrice delayed Voynov. Kirill the slow pill feels like the first last gasp of the Sleepy Rob era.
Eh?!
Let’s hope not the off ice stuffother than being Russian what on earth do the two of them have in common?!
I don't know that I would raise it to the level of egregious and I love the kid but he's a 5'10 190 lb 6th round pick.At the NHL level I don't see him being a good fit in an energy role. And I think he has the natural talent to be a scoring player if he makes it.
What's so egregious about that opinion?
I don’t know but some KHL teams are known to demote younger players that don’t extend their contracts with a view to heading to NA. I don’t know in his case but it does make it a bit tougher to assess.Any insight into why he played half the year in the VHL at age 22 instead of playing in the KHL for the entire year?
