I beg to differ on the over achieving part. The roster was good enough to make the POs this season with the way that other teams in the East played. Poor roster management for and in games and horrible coaching on offense and the PP did in this team.

They bled points all over the place. On the PP, in OT. In close games where they bench their best scorers. Utter nonsense and inefficiency.


That is the Flyers culture and society. That is their history and traditions now. Nothing else.

Because I am such a beacon of optimism and positivity, even I found it shocking that they managed to botch this the way they did. And I had no expectation of success, because putting that kind of pressure on them would be very negative.

There were some people who got lured back in this year. I have friends who basically watch when they’re good who asked me whether it was worth the effort for the first time in a few years. Some people don’t care to follow like a hardcore (and that’s fine).

This team resigned pretty much everyone on it, and didn't trade Laughton at the deadline. Torts crushed Couts with ice time early in the season and run him down, then scratched him after making Couts captain.

Never mind the Cutter and Hart debacles. Yes, I know authentics, Hart isn't the team's fault. It's just the cherry on top of the shit season this team full of idiots has had.

What a waste of everyone's time.

Even if flyers make the playoffs we are at best looking at the repeat of 2016 series. This way we improved on our draft position and don't have to watch Erik Johnson lace them up in every single game Nick Schultz style while Attard is riding the bench.

This may be the end all be all for me. I watched maybe 10 games this year. I just don’t have it in me to support the garbage ass organization and the coaching staff it continues to employ.
