i wasn't really for or against Carcillo. It seemed like a typical Sather trade but he has a Stanley Cup ring which a lot of our roster can't say. I figured at best he'd bring a certain level of physicality and agitation to our team (which would make the 7th seem like a bargain) or at worse, rot on the pine and get waived away which would suck but it was a relatively low cost gamble. A typical Sather gamble, but one that paid off this time, of like the Avery, Shelley, and Barnaby acquisitions. Not so much with the John Scott trade or I can't even remember all the other random goon experiements we've live through... Sather's probably batting 0.500 with those acquisitions. Batting way worse in the UFA signing of goons though (Brashear, McKenna, Rupp, etc)
