Kinda funny we talk about our LHD and how it’s crowded…. But I think guys like solberg/hinds prob need to spend most of next season in the AHL.

But our RHD is going to be crowded next year with guys ready for nhl or in the nhl

Gudas - trouba - helleson

-Luneau is going to be a tough guy to send down
-Moore is probab nhl ready, or pretty damn close

just a heads up game is exclusively on ESPN.

i think it makes the most sense if we do end up moving a young a young dmen
Yeah and he certainly is not Lane Hutson either. I do think he'll have a better career than Drysdale because he has more than just skating, he can shoot puck hard. I do wonder if Zell simply needs more time in AHL and then call him back up and hope the reset gets him going offensively.

By the looks of it. Zellweger might be the one getting packages in a trade this off season.. I just can't help to think the fact that his size is just a big issue for PV..
What if its both Zell and Zegras for a impact player to help exit the rebuild ?
I remember when the Eichel trade rumors were going around with the Ducks, we didn't want to part with Drysdale + Zegras both being included but in hindsight they maybe should have done it.

That trade also included a top 10 protected 2022 1s (so the 2023 1st), and the 2023 2nd. Add Eichel, subtract Zegras , Drysdale, Cutter, Carlsson, and Myatovic. We would still suck.

There’s nothing more to read of this other than they want to give a prospect RD a game, and pair him with a veteran, and they don’t want to pair Zellweger and Mintyukov.

I would trade Gudas and/or Trouba before trading any of the young D. I wouldn’t trade any defensemen before trading Cronin.
Oh I agree 100% there… but I see that as unlikely

As for the Cronin thing…. Hoping he’s gone at seasons end…. But if he isn’t there is a good chance we do move a young dmen in offseason(just a feeling)

That 1st was only if they didn't include both Zegras + Drysdale. The 1st + Zegras or 1st + Drysdale was another proposed package. I think all of those packages included Comtois as well.

you are misremembering what Ducks fans were offering vs what insiders were saying was actually requested.

Edit - So it would have actually been Eichel in, Zegras, Drysdale, Gauthier, Carlsson, Sennecke out.

It's ok bro. It's ok
Nah. I know you’ve been trying to get rid of him the entire season, but the scratch today is indicative of nothing either than he’s the most logical piece to scratch.

I do think it’d be nice to see, just as it was with LaCombe, what he can do NOT on his off side, with a partner he meshes with.

Jeez, Eichel's value went down quicker than the stock market because Sabres didn't get anything close to that lol
