Good for Stoner.

Should be nothing on Andersen, 2 minutes goaltender interference on Garbutt, and a 2/5/10 for instigating on Stoner. I'll take screwing up on Andersen because it's likely he couldn't see it well and it's better than killing a 3 minute major.

The problem is that Andersen basically did everything he could to make the ref think he played the puck. He even swiped at it. What was he trying to accomplish? Fool the ref? He did that.

Should it have been a call? No. By the book he didn't do anything wrong. But he sure made it easy for the referee to think he did.

Watch again - he was trying to make a play on the puck and Garbutt tipped it right beforehand. That's the only reason he didn't make contact. TRYING to get a delay of game isn't actually a penalty though.

Like I said, I'm not surprised or even upset the call was made. But it was the wrong call.

I don't know why he's out there at all.

They are playing a really good road game. If we didn't have the first seven games we have had I think we'd be happy right now.

Things just aren't going our way offensively, understatement of the century.

Because it missed Andersen's stick by probably about an inch. Maybe not even that. :dunno:

I'm not going to be critical of the ref in this situation, because in real time I certainly thought he played it.
