Skjei has been better defensively and physically than he was with NYR but his offense is still struggling. I’m still very happy with the Skjei for Schneider swap. I think Schneider will be a top pair defensive defenseman

He's a really good in front presence at PP. Actually, not just good. The best in the league. Have to give him that.

And he didn't use to be. He worked at it and evolved it in his game. He deserves a LOT of credit for that

I don’t care much about the lines as long as players are doing well.

That's fair. I do think that you'd get a lot of the same complaints toward Gallant as we did with Quinn, if we were losing games.

I just don't put much stock in it. Lafreniere never earned top6 minutes last year, and he doesn't play well with Zibanejad and Kreider this year. His usage has made sense to me for most of his career.
