I have that feeling where I don't really care what happens. If we win, it was just the 1-7 Flyers one of two teams worse than us in the standings. If we lose, to me we are already at rock bottom so it doesn't really matter.
 
I really wanna see Talbot do to the flyers what every other rookie goal tender making an NHL debut against the Rangers do to us. But that isn't likley to happen. This has disatser written all over it.

7-3 blow out by the flyers.

On a positive note, the Rangers will score 3 goals.
 
Probably seen Zucc in a Rangers jersey for the last time. And probably played his last NHL game.

Too bad for him, but hopefully he can return and have many good years in KHL or SEL. He tried and did his best, he should be proud, especially his game for the Rangers this spring both in RS and PO was outstanding.

Jumping to conclusions a bit, are we? A lot of our players have been healthy scratches before.
 
Who misses Torts now. Hard to pound little gifted offensive players into an offensive system. He knew it and now they are all finding out the hard way.
 
Zucc aint going anywhere, too early, they're trying to light a fire under his rear is all. Im pretty sure he'll be back in the lineup against Detroit, unless we see a big win tonight then AV may not want to change the lines.

He doesn't belong on the team, a million other guys can do what he does AND have size. Total waste of a roster space. Same with Pyatt, Boyle, and bunch of other useless ****.

Is that so? Have you forgotten all about last season, and the playoffs? Zucc was playing very well with the best guys who know how to finish his plays. Too bad for him they're all injured. But when they return, so will Zucc, and it's time to score some goals again.

We can't even score goals when the team is healthy because this team is not talented enough to do so.

Lots of changes need to be made. Unfortunately.
 
Looking forward to this one. Thank god finally a game that starts at 1 AM our time :)

Very exited to see Talbot. I wont predict any scores though. Just want to see some hockey.
 
How is a border line NHL'er the main topic of the gdt?

I'm not calling this a huge game, but it would be huge to get a win. With Talbot in net (I believe in the kid, but it is his debut) and all the injuries, getting points on the road will really help.

Hope to see them play better and with more effort tonight.
 
The Flyers wouldn't have a blowout game against a junior team right now. Lots of you are far too pessimistic considering that for all intents and purposes, the Flyers are an even more broken team. At least expect a tight game, probably with 1, maybe 2, goals against. That's all we've seen so far.
 
We haven't even played a home game yet. It's CRAZY. This season JUST started. After Monday night it REALLY starts. I'll start judging then.

Please get better Rick Nash.
 
Home games or not, it's hard to say this season hasn't started after 9 games going in to Monday. If they lose the next two the season will be over before it "starts."
 
Hopefully Stepan can get his head out of his ass and start producing. His whopping 5-assists are misleading, and they were mostly all insignificant.

No training camp or not, he's looked lost and he needs to really Step It Up (pun intended).

Team is going to need to score some goals for Talbot tonight. Flyers have been struggling, but Giroux is going to snap out of it sooner or later. I think we will need 3 or 4 goals to win this one.

Not really. The losses out west were expected. We beat LA, which is a boone. We should not give points away to NJ, but they will give them back to us. We soundly defeted WAS. And we had a good chance against STL. Just let me know how many East teams won in Shark Tank when season is over. Season aint over even if we lose to PHI. We need to win to make fans like myself feel better, but nothing dramatic if we lose. I said many time s this team is an okay group right now. The only problem is in the net. Hopefully Talbot will let that to go away for shorthwhile. If that happens we will win two games next.
