I looked over on the flyers board and at least 20 guys commented on the hit. Every single one said it didn't deserve 5 and a game.
 
So what do you think Hanks mystery injury is? My guess is bone chip
 
Maybe I'm old school but when I want to see a game live, I want cheap tickets and cheap beer. Fill me up with enough cheap beer and I'll drop 200 on souvenirs. The formula worked for a hundred years.

The idea that sports fans want sushi and Veuve and sky bridges is just ridiculous. They want to cater to the kind of clients who could care less about the game or the players.

Nope, expensive everything. Why make anything cheap when people keep paying for expensive?

Actually Kreider has done pretty good. I mean the MCD hit was just one of those freaky accidents. he just took a shot and Mcd was right there

Citified and Yankee Stadium prove that you will lose money at the gate if the team offers nothing. Stadiums don't draw people. Success does.

I think all the new New York sports venues are nightclubs/bars first, sporting event host last.
 
People aren't going to pay money to see a crappy team when they can easily watch it on TV. Who wastes money to see a sports team that you know is going to lose?

He hasn't been game-changing, but he's been pretty good. Certainly not out of place.
