Everyone is on board with the fact that the team is bad, but criticize their drafting and you get attacked for it.

That's why they're bad.

I’ve been getting killed for this and it makes no sense to me. We aren’t only team that cannot draft elite talent and haven’t for years. Our best player lundqvist was a fluke 7th round pick.

Most of those teams got them from having high draft picks. Johnny Hockeys and Jamie Benns are extremly rare, prob not even one a draft

The team doesn't have the proper personnel to play Quinn's system yet. AV's stench on this roster still reeks. Look no further than the 2nd goal against tonight. Three players chasing one. Should never happen.

Vesey is what should be the prototypical North-South player that can be good for this system, but he needs to stop thinking he's Wayne Gretzky and keep crashing the net. He can be a 20 goal scorer in this league if he just keeps it simple.

Buchnevich, Hayes, Spooner, et. al, aren't good North-South players. They're suited for a system more focused on skill and East-West play.
