I'm not blaming Brian Boyle for not producing on that line if you read my posts correctly. I'm blaming the composition of the lines by the coaches. You can't expect Boyle to become a complementary part of that line with Richards and St.Louis. Regardless of what the players have done historically and recently, that line is not going to be effective short of fortunately turnovers by the Senators or lucky bounces.

I don't think those lines are set up so that Boyle will become some sort of compliment to St Louis. They're sticking him wherever they can stick him because he's brutally murdered every line he's been on. The coaches hands are tied. The only guy to blame here is St. Louis.

Zibanejad is going to be a great player. If people here think an 18 goal scorer is a third liner, then what does our entire team consist of outside of Nash?

6th overall pick though. it's kind of a given. (Cue the Jessiman responses...)

You don't stick St.Louis wherever you can to get rid of him with 4 games left in the regular season and in preparation for the playoffs. You find a way to get the under performing players going. That's the most important part of the preparation for the playoffs are this point. The injuries do not help but it's unfortunate that we're not open to finding a suitable replacement for Kreider from skill players capable of contributing. We have the option to switch Richards to the LW.

"they need to finish some of their chances to get back in the game" - top insight there. no ****.

We're still not in the playoffs. Maybe getting the cancer out of our lineup would help us clinch.

Yeah, which causes people to ***** and moan about dump-and-chase.

Thing is, best teams have a combination of this. There bottom lines are grinding, dump and chasers, their top lines are usually carry it in. However, I think our two bottom lines have enough skill where they should be carrying it over.

And stop blaming Boyle he's been solid all year, it's not his fault Richards and MSL are lugs.

we're 99.999% in the playoffs. If you're arguing under the basis of undermining St.Louis and concerning with a 00.001% chance of missing the playoffs, then nothing makes sense.

There's 3 games left, that's hardly 99.999%.

As far as St. Louis he's killed every line he's been on, he's killed our powerplay, and he doesn't play defense. I'd rather have Callahan at 10 million a year than this corpse.

Even if we lose out every game in regulation, we have like a 98% chance of making the playoffs. Jus stop.

Hagelin is our best player offensively. That's not saying much, but it is what it is.
