My issue with Perron on the 4th line is this; if he's healthy enough to go, put him with Geno. If he's still feeling the effects of whatever illness to the point of him not being able to go for big minutes, give him the day off again.

Kunitz has been playing like he's had the flu for 3 years. Maybe we should limit his minutes...

I'd concur if we haven't been saying that one or two hundred times in the last five seasons, this one included.

Logic dictates Perron should get a shift tonight on L2 LW. At least one. Experience with this organization-- and this current group of coaches-- tells you that he won't.

Kunitz has been played like he died 6 months ago for the last 3 months. And, yes, no matter how drained Perron is, he's better than Kunitz.

I appreciate Geno's charitable nature and confidence in his ability to elevate anyone, but this really shows you why Geno never could have had a career in the medical profession. He'd have never given up trying to resuscitate corpses. Geno . . . sometimes, you've got to let them go.
