I think we're making a pretty varied selection of players. On the surface the numbers don't look good but when you dig you see he led the team in points(though would have been passed if Beck played more). He's actually new to Canada which you can attribute to getting used to it, which you can't do for Slaf's Liiga production. I'd guess the World Juniors will be a lot more interesting for us now.
EDIT: Ultimately I think most of us only follow at most 5 prospects closely and another 50ish from 1 game or less. I was one of the few that liked the Romanov pick because the logic for me was if we picked him that early and they thought he wouldn't be there at our next pick, he probably was very impressive at the combine. Obviously this isn't infallible logic since we took Connor Crisp over Buchnevich, Duclair, etc.
