He had to go but the timing was nothing short of asinine. First and foremost should always have been draft position in this BS excuse of a rebuild.

They continually show they don’t value picking higher. Whether it’s by hiring Torts in the first place, risking a late season new coach boost instead of continuing the free fall - or retaining TK, and Sanheim.

Dogshit morons. Almost had my tank. Even if they would have backed into it by mistake. It would have been so easy with Buffalo, and Nash showing a little bit of life.

We are happy we ended the season on a positive note - the last 10 games were important to ensuring that growth of our existing players.

To go into the summer knowing we are building something positive, and continuing to move into the next phase of the rebuild.

It is unbelievable what a Tortorella-less coached team looks like. Very entertaining. All of a sudden they can stick handle, skate and create offense. defense is still suspect but much more enjoyable product to watch. How the hell did Tortorella ever become know as a good coach, especially in todays NHL. It makes his selection even more damning or the FO

Tortorella's system requires complete buy-in from a Hall of Fame goalie. If he can get that, he's a genius. If he can't, well, we've seen what happens when he's relying on Err Son and Ivan the Terrible.
