A few hiccups are excusable. Being pinned in that fashion with them running around like chickens with their heads cut off is not.

The 4th goal is inexcusable, but at the same time, you needed those other 3 to get that 4th one.

Utter team collapse in the back end. If they lose, they lose. Put Talbot in against Edmonton.

Its been more than a few hiccups this season. He's had his worst season in many many seasons.

I don't have to look at shot totals. He hasn't had to be amazing tonight. We should be wining this game by a couple of goals.

I posted that because nevesis wrote TONS of saves. He hasn't had to make TONS of great saves.
Ah okay I see.

Either way, let's hope he shuts the door this period.

Looking past the standings, the Rangers have dominated this game offensively. Almost all of the puck possession, more shots and most importantly a lot more quality scoring chances. Hank has had very little to do in this game. There was a stretch for a minute in the second period where Calgary looked like a threat, but they've been totally outplayed the rest of the game offensively. They've capitalized on defensive mistakes and a goalie who's not playing as well as he should be playing.

I've said all season that Hank hasn't been up to his usual standards. This game has not shifted my opinion on Hank's season. I've been saying it all season.

Seriously, he's having one frigging off night and you guys are making it seem like he's been awful all season.

I think I'm going to stop posting for the night, because I'm going to say something that's going to get me in trouble. :p:

You've only been posting since December, so technically not all season:sarcasm: Hank seems to have trouble in Canada in general, would be interesting to see Canadian vs American game splits for him.

Did you hear what Anson Carter just said? I hope so.

Nevesis there's a career waiting for you as a post-game analyzer in the MSG propaganda machine. You would fit in so well. Let's not show Callahan's 2 goals last night, let's not talk about Lundqvist choking on that last goal. Let's just keep feeding the sheep. Girardi let Cammaleri shoot because Hank is supposed to stop it. Not confident in hank at all right now. I'd yank him.

HeHe, I wouldn't go that far.

I wouldn't say the Hank fans are going to gang up on you on this one. More like, anyone who is capable of seeing with eyes. They're the ones that are going to gang up on you. He's having an off-night and he started slow, but he's still among the best in the league.

That's what's wrong with anyone arguing for Hank. He's the among the best in the league because of his reputation, so thats going to be used to his benefit. I can't argue that, but he has been mediocre this season compared to his usual standards.

They aren't, but at some point the goalie is going to have to take some blame. When you are paid as the highest goalie in the league, sometimes you need to cover up the mistakes of your defenseman. Four goals against Calgary is unacceptable.

I promised my self to save my 500th post for when we win the cup but this i had to respond too. Please take a moment and read what you just wrote. Contradiction galore :shakehead

Edit: and i still have my 500th post left :)
