drops the puck and bee-lines to the front of the net. Takes BOTH D with him.

MSL looks at Staal like what was that? Not in a showing him up sort of way, but more in the sense like "you had room to move in, why did you shoot"

I think that MSL is still trying to figure guys out. It's not meant to be said as an excuse, but it just seems like he plays a certain way and he's trying to fit that into the concept of what the Rangers are doing.

Agreed. I am being patient with him. No reason not to.

EVERYONE'S "individual play was bad at the beginning of the season." Again, it was all the system. I've watched how he's learned to play in it. He had an adjustment period like everyone else. I've went through similar changes when I used to play. I don't know if you know, but it's incredibly difficult to completely change your game to fit a new system. To blame it on anything but the system is just incorrect.

Oh, alright, "To blame it on anything else is incorrect." Yeah, I'm going to end this debate when you say things like that.

Like I said, you may be right, we have different opinions on his improvement, but let's not say anything else is incorrect. All that matters is he's back on track.
