I do feel for Rangers fans somewhat (my dad is/was a huge Jean ratelle fan). That franchise just hasn’t had an elite homegrown 1C for like ever. It’s crazy how that’s eluded them for essentially decades. I don’t think they’re going anywhere until that player arrives.

If Trouba is hurt. Lunuea gets called up right?

Maybe, except Luneau's defense is still in development. Other options are Hinds or sign Moore to an ELC. Hinds has played RD off-and-on for the Gulls for the past two seasons and is a stay-at-home type D. RD Moore has to be signed to an ELC in order to play for the Ducks. He's got poise and four NCAA seasons under his belt. Moore as been playing shutdown RD1 for Harvard for the past two seasons as well as have some sneaky offense. In four AHL games, he's got 1g + 2a and has a +3 rating.

Figure the new pairs could be
LaCombe-Helleson
Minty-Gudas
Zell- xxx

Didn’t PV say Moore was going to play some in ahl and nhl.

think he also said the plan is to keep Luneau in the AHL all year

That leads me to believe moore would be the guy up with Anaheim if trouba is out

But we also have that other guy from the deadline
I think Luneau stays in San Diego until they’re mathematically eliminated.

I find it amusing that there are Rangers fans complaining that they lost to a “bottom feeder”…that has 3 fewer points than they do.

The Rangers were 3-6-1 coming into this game and left 3-6-1. It looked like a very winnable game on the schedule with that info for the Ducks as we're the best of the worst and proved it tonight!
