Agreed - I also think their offensive chemistry isn’t all that bad.Leo is our 2nd best defensive forward. I give Killorn a lot of credit for that.
What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Going to have to disagree with the entire thesis that Killorn was dragging down Leo into a frustrated depression the 1st 48 games and then going to the Four Nations magically made Carlsson figure things out. Cronin putting Lundestrom/Leason on Carlsson and Killorn other wing to start the year was dreadful and Zegras has had a very bad season IMO (the stats don’t really lie at this point).Eh I don't really think we've seen the results of that. If anything there was a stretch this year where Leo looked frustrated on occasion when Killorn would flub receptions of his passes or when Killorn would miss him with passes well wide. I mean I don't think we can say either way since we're not on that bench or in the room, but Leo didn't really flip a switch until the Four Nations.
I think Killorn is a useful player. I know it seems like I rag on him a lot but it really just comes down to that. Leo and Killorn connecting for dangerous plays or converted goals feels more like a blind squirrel finding an acorn every now and then. And his spot on PP 1 is just not deserved imo given his puck management inconsistency. I'm all for having him on PK1 for the time being though. We'll see what his condition is like next season at 36 YO
Well I wasn't saying that Killorn was the only reason for Leo's funk, I just think the wider body of work is indicative of tortured chemistry between the two. But like you said, we can just agree to disagree.Going to have to disagree with the entire thesis that Killorn was dragging down Leo into a frustrated depression the 1st 48 games and then going to the Four Nations magically made Carlsson figure things out. The bottom line is that the fact that Calrsson has gotten better as the season has worn on kinda supports the idea that having a wily veteran like Killorn with him hasn’t been the worst thing in the world.
I’ve never advocated for Killorn on the PP.
Agree to disagree
I mean it's all levels. Can we confidently say that all of them progressed as well as they could have with a better coach? These kids are all going to progress. The questions are how much? How quickly? And how close can they get to the upper limits of their upside?I just don’t think Cronin is going anywhere. Mac, Leo, Cutter, and LaCombe have all made progress this season.
The assistant coaches should all be gone but who knows anymore.
Special teams have really been a big part of the issues this year.
He is owed steak by many people who’ve blown glorious setups.Z is absolutely dealing. Can’t believe he has no apples.
