Heinen and Jake’s chemistry has me excited for Sid to possibly join them

I dunno. I get being frustrated at the lack of finish but they've played a good game. What are ya gonna do. We knew the offensive wheels would fall off sooner or later with all the injuries.

I mean I'm not giving him credit for making that kind of swap because that swap likely won't matter.

And I think in a case like this, where (a) the team is offensively challenged, (b), there's no history of success for lines or even combinations offensively, and (c) it's clear that little going offensively (and/or zero puck luck), that it's not unreasonable for a coach to mix up the lines a little, even if it's highly unlikely to work, if only because something highly unlikely to work is still more likely to work than something that isn't working.

Maybe they got tired of trying to make up for his bad passing
Eh, maybe. They've been garbage all season though, independent of E-Rod's influence. Any discussion to the contrary is laden with favoritism, to be honest.

When you have a lineup missing like 40% of the cap due to injury and illness, yet guys like Jake and Kap are healthy, they can't be routinely outplayed--and badly--by the likes of Evan Rodrigues, Danton Heinen, Drew O'Connor, and Dominik Simon for the first 7 games straight. /shrug
