so far many of us have been proven wrong. Nils, Chytil, Kravy none going in the right direction. I'm still hopeful Chytil turning things around

Depends on your vision of success for him, he's always been destined as a 3rd line player for us, i think people have too high of expectations for him

Anyway I am not too shocked by this game. Calgary are hot and the Rangers have been riding their luck on the long road trip they had. Today they didn't get any breaks and it showed. But Gallant needs to start to sort the team out, the puck needs to move with much higher tempo and the players need to be in position for outlet passes and in the neutral zone - the top lines need to work the boards and forecheck and so on. Lots to fix in the upcoming months.

The offensive big guns are going to need to figure it out. You can’t come away from a game counting on one hand the amount of good shifts the top two lines had. Panarin has one good shift all night. Zibanejad seems to be making all of the wrong decisions.

Something has to give. Sammy Blais can’t be our best player every night.

4 game road winning streak and then come home to play a Canadian team before going back on the road again. That’s a trap game 100% of the time.
Best thing to do is go top heavy. Zib with Kreider and Panarin. Can't believe I'm saying this, with all the supposed offensive talent, but you're minimizing the perimeter, E-W footprint by doing that.

Im not ready to give up on Nils but it does make you wonder if they coulda got Eichel for him and Krav in the summer.

There are certain things that you should be able to do at a bare minimum at this level regardless of how green you are.

He’s an undersized offensive defenseman who can’t skate or move the puck.

this teams outlook looks much worse than it did at the end of 19-20. Part of it is Panarin not playing like an MVP but we have lost a lot of talent since then. And now we are locked into ling term contracts for guys who look like they are on the down swing.

You're probably right. Partly is because honestly right now hoping he can hit his ceiling after our two other forwards from 2017 and 2018 first round have been disasters.

Raphael Diaz minus the poise.

It sure does not look like this team is on the cusp of having enough long term talent to win Cups.

Kreider Mika Kakko
Panarin Strome Goodrow
Lafreniere Chytil Blais
Hunt Rooney Reaves/Gauthier

I think we’ll finally get these lines on Friday when fully heathy. But it’s become clear that the lines don’t matter when Zibanejad and Panarin play drunk chel.

Looks worse than Pionk ever did.

DeAngelo’s loss was/is massive.

This is what I feared with Strome coming back. Giveaways through the roof as soon as he's back in the lineup. Leave panarin Mika and kreider together and let the other lines play Gallant hockey.

Anyway we can get Fast back to play with Strome and Panarin? This is going to be a longer than usual season.
