just wondering if you guys preferred torts at this point?

Its not coaching. Torts inherited a very good Vancouver team. I watched them dominate the Pens in Pittsburgh today in terms of chances and possession, which the Rangers never did once ever against the Pens in any venue.

Vigneault's a good coach, but not that good. Strong, balanced rosters can handle injuries with little problem.

"easy night for schneider"

What an understatement. I could shutout this Rangers team, and I don't even play hockey

At this point I'm pretty sure that the million year old fossil named Lucy that scientists discovered would have done a better job constructing this team.

While I agree, I still would have preferred someone different than AV. Typical lazy Sather.

And Torts is a much, much better coach than some of the people on here gave him credit for. He did what he could with this "roster."

I'm going to go watch the Avs game so I can dream about a rebuild tonight.

Just give the puck to Richards. It's our only chance.

Talk about far cry from last season.

Yeah **** what he has done every other season for this team

These 7 games are what he should be judged on.

****ing idiotic..

"every other season" is irrelevant

The game changed a lot for goalies this season. He looks horrible with the changes.

He has had the same two major problems (rebounds and deflections) for years, and refuses to work on them. He continually turns the puck over by playing it, instead of letting defensemen take it, giving the other team plenty of offensive zone time. He blames his teammates and refs way more than any goalie in the league.

The guy brings a negative environment.

I'd have no problem sitting Stepan out a few games. He's supposed to be our #1C and I don't think I've heard his name yet.
