There was a year where the only truly dangerous player on Caps PP was Ovechkin. In a playoff series, the Rangers shut them down by just covering him and Ribeiro. Once you have 3 scoring threats out there, it’s impossible to shut down any individual one. Kuznetsov. Oshie.

But yea, when the Stepan trade happened (which I will defend forever), I remember that day perfectly. I left work, went to my car, looked up “new york rangers” on google (as I do 20 times a day), and there it was. I was never so happy after a trade, all because we got DeAngelo.
