Thank You Kevin, you came through again!
LOS ANGELES -- Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr and Mario Lemieux, the three greatest living hockey players of all time, made a rare appearance together Friday night and agreed on one important fact: The greatest player of all time was not sitting among them.
The three Hall of Famers, part of the National Hockey League's naming of the top 100 players of all time, agreed that former Detroit Red Wings great Gordie Howe was the best who ever played.
GOAT is a tough call but if these 3 say it was Gordie Howe I am not going to argue.

Here is the amazing thing about Bobby. He has spent most of the last 50 years in Boston and I have NEVER seen a negative story about him off the ice in the Boston media and this is a town that loves to trash celebrities.
My favorite personal story about Bobby happened close to 25 years ago when Bobby came into the long gone Crimson Sports Grille in Harvard Sq with his 2 sons to watch a game. Everybody in the bar knew who he was except the waitress and nobody bothered him. Only when the game ended and he and his sons were leaving did everybody in the bar stand up and applauded. The waitress later gushed she was tipped 50%.
I also know what he did for Frosty and he made sure his final months were comfortable.
