I remember we offered a million or so for Nikishin before he was traded for 9 players, so maybe 250k will get it done.
Fair, but that would entail running all the way from Western Blvd, across campus, to Hillsborough St.
Which I would not advise after eating at the aforementioned 4 restaurants.
But seriously, I am tempted to tell some impressionable NC State students that hitting up McDonald’s-Bojangles-Popeyes-Cook Out in a single run within a time limit is a tradition and something they should all do once. Even better if they think it needs to be at a specific date and time, so we can watch flocks of college students staggering down Western trying to hold down that last quesadilla.
SKA must secretly be Montreal fans, or something
Given Nikishin's dedication to SKA quite frankly I'm surprised they didn't let him go first. OTH, perhaps they are trying to convince him to stay and/or as I mentioned Milstein's RU connections surely meant he knew the "right" buttons to hit....I kinda think it's funny Demidov went first and watching our fans freak out. I'm sure everything will be fine.
MilsteinAnd now Demidov is officially signed. They got that done in an hour. What excuse is there for the Borg not being able to do the same?
I don't know but worth pointing out it's not apples to apples here. As mentioned above the players have different agents, the teams negotiate separately with SKA, and VISA situations could be different with US and Canada. Should get done in the next couple days. And now Demidov is officially signed. They got that done in an hour. What excuse is there for the Borg not being able to do the same?
Sorry to hear about Kuzy....that penalty shot goal was a first round highlight. Hopefully, he hasn't gone back to his off ice issues.I don't know but worth pointing out it's not apples to apples here. Also in other news SKA and Kuznetsov are parting ways despite signing a 4 year contract after we let him go. I didn't follow him closely this year so I wonder if it's him just not caring much about hockey any more or if he wants to try to go back to the NHL. I don't think he'd be eligible to play for any team this year.
