They are in love with vets and vanilla players that play hard but lack even a modicum of skill
The bigger issue is we don't have any real offensive talent outside 2 players.Seriously though? This team misses Seeler and Risto. Inorite? What a time. Just saw a highlight of G scoring a clapper shootout goal. Bad leaders have been the problem.
If you don’t like it, the solution is don’t put yourself in those situations.
Hey you don't win by filling the net. You think Toronto is going anywhere in the playoffs. No wayThe bigger issue is we don't have any real offensive talent outside 2 players.
That’s a long Johnson.

I still do not f***ing get this trade. Do we really have dumbasses think that he was going to replace Walker? Dude was terrible on a terrible team before coming here. Let that sink in.
I know both Seeler and Drysdale are week to week but have there been any updates on their return in the Philly media?

They have been boys against men most nights when they play against a competitive PO level team. They're just not very good or talented. They've tried to win by out hustling their opponents. Now it's time when the season gets serious and that won't work any more. Toss in a couple of injuries and a scandal and this club is dog food. Many of the posters here have known this.I watched the 1st period. It was pretty much boys against men.
Losing Hart and half the defense corps definitely hurts this team. Ersson is wildly inconsistent.
I don't think they will make the playoffs, but it's good for the team to play some meaningful hockey for the first time in four years. For some of the players, it's the first time.
