Went with my dad as part of a x-mas present. Little did I understand what tickets I got us. We enter the arena and pan up to where our seats are supposed to be. Only, they're not exactly where you'd expect so I'm confused, until it slowly dawns on me that I accidentally got us two seats in Gritty's Chaos Corner.

Dear Reader, please believe me when I tell you that I did nothing to deserve that. Nor did my poor father. We didn't deserve having popcorn dumped on our heads, silly string shot into our faces, nor being surrounded by dozens of children screaming, "Gritty!" for all of the 1st and 3rd periods. It was a harrowing experience, and it will be some time before I brave the Wells Fargo Center once more.

I love this a little too much.

My season ticket seats are on the other side of the wall from that area so I see it all.

I don't have a link but apparently Chris Pronger was tweeting back and forth with Charlie O'Connor calling out Tortorella on his bull shit and lack of communication with a player on why he was scratched. The coach who publicly spoke on valuing communication and trust with a player and building a relationship with players and transparency, doesn't tell players why they're scratched. It has happened multiple times with this coach. I knew pretty much as soon as Tortorella was hired that he was a bull shit artist and an archaic coach that the game has long passed by. Hopefully he is on his way out. His hiring from the get go was a brutal mistake by this organization. One in a long line of many

What happened to the guy who said all the Flyers needed was a better goalie and a couple of decent starters and they would be a top 8 team in the league? He was always pumping up the Flyers. Seems as though he disappeared.

Where is our friend?

Tweedledee and Tweedledum flew the coup when the Farabee and Frost trade went down. They had to admit the team is rebuilding. They had to admit while the goaltending does suck, it is a lot more than a goaltending problem. You can't defend Torts anymore with how the Flyers are playing. He should be gone at the end of the year. Rocky should be blown into space. You can tell me how much you want to see the Flyers in the playoffs but this team is 4 years from being in round two in the playoffs (assuming one of the farm goalies turns into a legit 1). The current flyers are Buffalo right now. Multiple years of missing the playoffs and their record getting worse each year. But hey we got that Risto culture.

Hopefully Danny uses this draft and picks every player with skills under the sun and doesn't make an easy pick trade for EP 40 or someone like that.
