Again, you do that at the draft with an RFA. You don't move an RFA with ridiculous chemistry with your best player. No team does that, man. I'm all for trading him if we can get some good value. But it was the right move to wait on that.

If your eye is on the future, you trade the player when you believe their value is maximized. The market was limited at the deadline, especially when we pulled Kreider off of it. I have no belief that we are getting max value if we move on from Strome at the draft, rather than had we moved him this week.

And why don't you do that? To appease your team which has no chance of going anywhere?

I agree. Not the best play by Henrik on it. I dont know what fans expected. He hasnt played a month and the team looks terrible for the 2nd straight game.
