where’s our resiliency? a couple bad games and the team starts sulking. they look like they don’t have a pulse

Lindgren didnt play the shot or the pass on that. Just gave him a clean breakaway.

For his first game in a month, I genuinely thought the team would try and keep it tight in front of Lundqvist.

They look terrible, legitimately.

I know it's not all about quantity, but the shots are 14-10, against the Sharks they were 20 something to less than 10. Let's not pretend that the Flyers are doing something never seen before.

you gotta give AV some credit, when his system works it's damn near unstoppable
It won't last. The teams he takes over always play their best in his first year as coach. Slowly but surely the inmates run the asylum and the room tunes him out. It happened in Vancouver, it happened here, and it will happen in Philly.

This might be Hanks, Patrick Roy moment
Biron and great didn’t necessarily deserve that either . Whatever the result the rangers showed us a lot this season , hard decisions to make this offseason and hopefully get lucky with thr draft and find a couple good ones

Yet the team was a handful of points out of the playoffs and just re-signed Kreider. So why would they trade one guy who had annoyingly good chemistry with Bread?

It was always a fool's errand to imagine this team could compete for a cup. Having your goalie stop 40 shots every game is not a recipe for success. And when that goalie gets in a car crash and breaks his ribs on the evening before deadline day, it should only have made it more obvious what was necessary.

Furthermore, signing Kreider should have made it imperative that we move on from Strome.

Henrik does not suck. Never has. Our team is coming into a really tough part of the schedule. We are coming back down to earth a bit. I think the team has improved
And has done it earlier than we expected.
I don’t expect us to make the playoffs but as long as the effort is there I’m happy.
Kreider injury was a killer.
I’m hoping for our youth to continue their development. We have a lot to look forward to. Future is very bright!
LGR!
I am one of the most optimistic posters on here, Henrik is a legend one of the best to ever put on a Rangers sweater. But to sit here and say he has not sucked this year is not being honest with yourself. If it was Shesty starting from the start of the year being backup by Gorgiev we might be defending a PO spot today instead of being 2 points out.
This game is an example of what I was fearing: the Rangers are better than before, but the wins created a false sense of where they actually are in the rebuild.

Not sure why people are upset. They aren't ready yet. They are closer, but not there. This month's schedule will show this. Being better than Carolina and the Islanders means nothing. They aren't better than the teams that matter.

What happened was injuries at the worst possible time to players we needed to make the push into the POs.I agree team will not win a SC this year or the next , but without the recent injuries we make the POs this year.I will still cheer the team on and have hope until we are mathematically eliminated.

i dunno. he's not a perfect coach but he certainly did not have the personnel here towards the end of his tenure. his problem is that he never adjusts his system to the talent level of his team, but when he has the right pieces it all works for him.

This might be the worst Ranger game I’ve ever seen

This is absolutely f***ing pathetic

I never say anything about effort but in this game? They arent even trying

Again, you do that at the draft with an RFA. You don't move an RFA with ridiculous chemistry with your best player. No team does that, man. I'm all for trading him if we can get some good value. But it was the right move to wait on that.
