He clearly isn't what he was. But we don't need to call him a bum.

He never was a king either, should have never crowned him that. You would have expected him to come out and try to prove everybody wrong and play lights out, but he just looks brutal.

I’m not worried even if they lose this game. Carolina, Columbus, and the Islanders are struggling now. Just gotta play over .500 hockey and they should be able to get into a playoff spot.

All of the people defending Lundqvist though. We had some looks as good or better as the Flyers and other than shank by Mika, Hart made the saves. Lundqvist didn't make one save of note in that period.

With Shesterkin I thought we could definitely do this. Losing him AND Kreider just isn’t recoverable. That’s clear to me now. The schedule is going to be full of teams just as good if not much better than the flyers.

we don’t have the goaltending and or a net front PP presence on the powerplay. Or at least Quinn won’t use Gauthier there like he should

This is a team that got accustomed to its goalies making 40+ saves a night. Henrik just isn't going to do that anymore. It doesn't mean he's bad, it just means he's not going to do what the Rangers (unfortunately) require of their goaltenders right now to be competitive.

Sometimes I really question whether some of you guys have played hockey. First, he didn't go down easily. He was cross-checked from behind in what should've been a clear-as-day penalty. Then, in a desperation play when he realizes "Oh, shit, they didn't call that?", he tries to make a play on the puck to give his defender a chance to get in position.

Sitting there saying he was just flopping around and turning the puck over just makes me shake my head. That's a dumb take from you - an otherwise good poster.
I played high level travel, juniors and college. Thanks. I was a goalie though.

I know he was cross checked but he’s just a lazy player by nature. If that’s Panarin he probably doesn’t even go down but if he does he probably makes a better attempt to corral the puck and he 100% skates harder on the back check. Sure Strome was cross checked but you can’t look at that play and tell me he handled it great start to finish and did everything he possibly could’ve done. No way.

You are right. In other news, Richards is not a Beaver and Bure isn't acually a rocket.

No, I just actually understand the game. Who the f*** even are you? Literally never seen you before. Probably because you don't understand hockey.
You’re right, I don’t post often on an internet message board so I must be clueless about hockey.

meanwhile I provided concrete, actual examples of his embarrassing, weak play- while you yell “wahhh he was crosschecked”
