This game is simply based around not getting enough production from the first line and non existent production from the Cally-Richards line.

If your not getting offensive pressure; eventually the other team will start coming around in the Ozone.
the first line has been good. Long way to go man

yet again, a goal is rarely ONLY the goalies fault

yeah we were pinned that shift, yeah the defensive coverage in front was lacking but hank left the left side open then flopped on his stomach

rask has outplayed hank and that is the difference right now

period

This comment is proof you either aren't watching the same game or have zero understanding about hockey in general, more specifically any understanding about defensive coverage.

So Rask didnt make 6-7 big saves in the first period?

He also had quite a few on that power play. He's giving his team a chance to win.

Sure, none of those were easy saves, but he needs to stop some of them. The guy is paid a bazillion dollars for gods sake.

Exactly.

A least you get it. Few people here understand the game.

3 goals against sucks. Lundqvist let in 3 goals. Lundqvist sucks.

1 goal against is good. Talbot let in 1 goal. Talbot is good.

1 goal against>3 goals against. Talbot>Lundqvist. Not are to see people.

Dude I respect your opinion but Hank could give up 8 goals and you'd be here defending him.

You can think that all you want, but I defend Henrik when he deserves to be defended, and call him out when he should have made a save.

All three Bruins goals weren't his fault. If you think otherwise, you should start learning about the game, specifically missed assignments/defensive breakdowns.

False. Henrik isn't in Rasks league right now. That is the difference. We have dominated them for a majority of the game.

It's not about the quantity of chances, it's about the quality. While the majority of play has been in the Bruins' zone, the Rangers haven't been getting the high quality chances that the Bruins have. Outside of the J.T. Miller goal, I don't remember the Rangers having opportunities on the level of the last two Bruins goals.

It took a world class deke for Rask to give up a goal.

This is the third Olympiad where Lundqvist has returned and struggled immediately. It's no coincidence.

The guy was lights out Vezina before the break.

It's obviously mental.

Anyway, Hagelin, Stepan and Callahan have all looked like garbage since the return. The fruit of our farm system.

The people saying play Talbot are being foolish but come on. Hank has never given up a bad goal accoring to you

Is it really unfair to say Rask outplaying Hank is the difference in this game right now? No, its not unfair.

No offense dude, but If Hank wristed one into his own net, you'd say he has an elite wrister and high end skill set.
