I know maybe its impatient but its frustrating to see guys like Suzuki and Mittelstadt scoring and our guys like Lias/Kakko not (not saying its their fault cause its not).

I've always said you need to either draft north americans or draft Europeans and put them in the AHL for a year, it's a different style of hockey on different ice in most cases.

Tbh gorton gave me false hope and so did media coverage. They made it out to be a rebuild on the fly and we would be competitive. Now we see the reality and the organization can fall back on this is a total rebuild.

Lundqvist Staal Smith contracts end after 20/21 season. 21-22 season is also Kakko’s last ELC season. That season is our chance. Only 2 years of waiting.

It's going to take longer than two years for this team to be a contender. One offseason in 20-21 after cutting the dead weight isn't enough to make this team a contender.

Zibanejad is going to need a new contract. Kakko, Kravtsov, and a bunch more players will need new contracts.

Priority #1 this offseason is to trade for a top 6 center. I'm not saying go out and get McDavid (though that would be nice), but even a passable 2nd line, all situations center in their 20's would work. Buchnevich, DeAngelo, and Skjei are the bait for that player.
