Even though this is from his 2018-19 season, he has largely played the same way in the college games I've seen this year.

He plays with high energy with great vision. He rotates between the half-wall and net battles, especially on the powerplay. He makes high skill/vision decisions on the rush. It's just a matter of continuing to adapt to higher levels of play.

For these elite players the decisions are usually made quickly. Once they are eliminated I expect he will either announce he’s going back to school or he will be making his Kings debut on the next homestand (assuming they lose to OSU).

I think Turcotte will go back for one more.

The big question is simply if he will benefit from going back or not.

I've seen him a few times during the televised games, but not enough to have an opinion on that. A hardcore Badger fan who sees him all the time might, but then again they see him from a fans point of view rather than a what is best for his development point of view. There probably aren't too many Wisconsin hockey fans who also follow the Kings closely to get a good opinion from. Looking forward to what our player development department thinks about it.

Will there even be an opening for him? Kupari, JAD, Sutter, Akil Thomas will come up, does Dudas go back for an over age year, is Tyler Madden going back to college after being a top 5 in pts/game?

I know they will do whats best for his development (make room if needed) but thats a lot of players that will need ice time

A nice issue to have!! I believe that Blake will continue to open up roster spots in LA and bring the guys from Ontario up and down for those players to get a taste of NHL play.

there will be room in Ontario for him...and that is not a bad thing

I think he signs...in the interview, he says he talks to Jack Hughes every day or 2 and about playing in the NHL...his goal is to play in the NHL asap and he's amped about
this next step. He wants it more than he wants college hockey. He will have no problem, playing AHL hockey next year, or possibly even making the Kings.
Pro makes sense; playing 80 games, playing Kings system, etc. Granato said back in October / November that Alex could play in the NHL now. I would trust
his judgment more than any poster here. So, if he's not NHL ready? Big deal, play a year in the AHL.

I was watching a Wisconsin game this season and Turcs had a multi point game. In his other games I am watching him play really well and solid hockey but he didn't
play with an edge to his overall game. Then something changed and his game got a bit more extreme with regards to his strength play. He worked hard in the corners when he was there and made several fast accurate passes. He could have had several more points but things didn't go that way for his line mates. I loved him at the WJC's and thought he was the 2nd best center on his team when he wasn't playing his best and the first best one when he did. I like his game and rather or not he ends up pro this season or next I think we have a good young player who could become our #1 C in time.

I have to ask, does your username have anything to do with the band?
