He may have something nagging him. But it’d be nice to let couturier or Patrick do some more heavy lifting for him. Give jvr more es shifts at left wing and take him off the pk rotation for a bit.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that as soon as the coaching change happened, after he messed with the top line, his production dipped.

Defense and systems are a big part of offense too. Both pretty much decide your transition scheme and how effective it is. Our best D is getting the least TOI, our second worst is getting top three usage, and our system is very unaggressive.

Suffice it to say, I’m not surprised.
