I like Patrick where he is. I think being the best player on his line has really helped his confidence. He wants the puck on his stick at all times now...no need to put him with G or Jake and have him lose that.

Only thing that needs to change is the trash D.

Provorov-Ghost
Sanheim-Gudas
Hagg-Myers

Morin in for Hagg when ready.

2 big points on the line today.

It would be nice if the two biggest Flyers were playing and plowed Martha into the boards.

I do not understand why we cannot play Myers against team like Detroit.. Seems like a good opportunity against such team..

Ghost and Provy are horrible together unfortunately.

If Myers doesn't get in today he's not going to barring injury or trade.

With the abomination that is 1/3 of our D, it makes no f***ing sense at all.

Go FLYERS!

until they were exposed in the play-offs, when they've been together this year they've been on the minus end more often then not.
I also wouldn't say they were great together all last year. I wish they were better together but they're not and when they are together then they aren't a top pairing D.

Who was that ####er that kicked at a Flyer player right before he jumped on the bench..... in addition to the crosscheck to G's neck on the ice? The coach holds responsibility for that conduct it seems the conduct was team wide.. can we send them some lab rats with Ebola?

They were absolutely dominant together last year. The way they ran the point in the offensive was better than any pair I have ever seen. Both guys had career years offensively...would love to see that magic again. The playoffs are a bad thing to judge because Hakstol managed the team so poorly.

Gudas and Sanheim has also been a terrific pair.

We saw Weal and Weise look good with Couts.

The problem with combinations that work in the short-run is opposing teams have endless video, so any vulnerabilities eventually get exposed. Teams may have seen something in last year's playoffs and changed how they played with Provorov - Ghost on the ice.

I think Ghost - Gudas, balances each player's weakness.
Provorov needs a veteran RHD who can play big minutes, Sanheim needs to move back to LHD.
And Morin and Myers will be pushing for spots.
