Concerned about this one. Its such a trap game.

Also, I loathe Stepan on the point. It's never looked good, it's never worked. Why are we trying it again?

Hahaha.

My dad's got the tickets to tonight's game and his record is atrocious, like 2-8-2 or something. I should tell him to just skip it and go to a really nice dinner instead.

haha That's what I would do, honestly. Like when the Rangers play on my birthday I'm like, "I don't even wanna bother."

I almost bet all my vcash on the Rangers tonight. I think that would be the final straw, so I'm throwing it on EDM to try to even it out a bit.

Oh wow, yesterday I wrote this:

Stepan is the guy who should be sat for Callahan on that unit. Callahan and Kreider could switch off on net front duties, and when Kreider is away from the net he's be better than Stepan at moving the puck, since he has way better hands and is a superior passer.

And today, Gross reports:

Callahan practiced on a unit with Chris Kreider and Rick Nash up front and Ryan McDonagh and Derek Stepan on the points (though Nash also rotated to the point at times instead of Stepan). Callahan, as usual on the power play, situated himself in front of the net.

Got the Stepan part wrong obviously, since Richards breaks down the pp more than anybody.

Anyway, interesting to see where Kreider sets up when Callahan is in front. Saw him a lot in the high slot for BC, plus we all know he's a great passer so at the half boards he should be effective too. Guess we'll see...

I wasn't sure about Talbot starting this game, but the Rangers have the Penguins on Friday, so it makes sense to start Lundqvist that game.

It might be a bit of a mismatch since Scrivens is playing in God mode right now. And the Oilers have the potential, despite being 19th in scoring, to really light the lamp with their roster.

I'm hoping for a 4-3 win. Expecting a 3-1 loss (mostly because I think we will struggle to figure out Scrivens). Big two points. Hopefully Talbot shuts the door and gets some offensive support. Guys like Hall make me nervous though.

Man these everyoneon.org commercials need to die already. The game hasn't even started and im already sick of them.

I thought Talbot looked pretty good against Uniondale. Yeah he got tuned eventually but for the most part he was quick, agile and not overreacting. Of course not being in for a while, how's the going to effect him?

Haggling, hope he's just as good tonight. He brought that line to life.

What is the best stream working tonight? CharlieHQ seems to be showing SNY and Streamo isn't showing anything.

I know Carcillo has a bad rep around the league for his on ice bs but he seems like a really nice guy off the ice. He has contributed since he's been here so no complaining from me at all.

Lets go Rangers!
