Kane is one of the best playoff performers in the league. Say what you want about his defensive game, but the Rangers don't need Kane playing 20+ minutes a night.

If they get him. I guarantee he is a PPG in the playoffs.

The Rangers have plenty of defensively conscientious players as well to shelter any 5v5 defensive issues he might have. Their offensive guys are pretty solid two-way players as well typically.
