Vatrano and Zegras both smaller players who are limited by their size. Killorn, limited by his lack of speed. But all 3 play hard and try hard minus the occasional off game . From all accounts sennecke is our hope for the guy who has it all. I really can’t wait for that kid to arrive.

I could live with Lundestrom being on the 4th line next year, but I would definitely look to upgrade him if I can.

I’ve never loved anything about him. The games he plays well in a row. Just piss me off. It’s like, hey dude. If you want to stay in the league you need that effort every f night . Not just when you’re scratched

also very frustrating to lose a game in which the team gets 2 PP goals in the first 5 minutes. How do you not score on buffalo at all beyond that...

They need more forward depth if they want to be a playoff team. There's like 5-6 guys every night that have 0 percent chance of scoring.

Srsly + to Boot our top end players aren’t true top end players either. Terry is a fine 2nd line player, nothing more. Leo/mac/zegra none have taken a step to becoming top Line guys.

PP went 2/4 (50%), PK went 3/3 (100%), our goalie posted 0.914 Sv%, and Blues goalie posted 0.889 Sv%. You'd think with those metrics that the Ducks should have won. We don't have a scheme to elevate our offense. Hazy said during the telecast in the third period that outside of LaCombe, everyone else was playing listless. LaCombe played 27:33 TOI tonight and he was still active.
This is a game they needed to win, if they want to continue to play meaningful games down the stretch. Cronin is obsessed with playing the 4th line so much, I just don’t understand it, and he gives way too many mins to Killorn, Vatrano, and Strome. No wonder they are gassed by the 3rd.
The only silver lining to a such a shitty game well really shitty last period , Leo looked good again, another point/goal and Mac also starting to produce again. Goal and assist in the last 2 games. That line had some nice moments and glad they both scored a goal even if it was on the PP.
Disappointing and really was starting to get some hope after this little point streak coming into this game. Thursday is a must win game, if there is any hope to play meaningful games next month.

So I only got to watch the first half of the 3rd period before I turned it off. The team looked tired and Buffalo had all the momentum even I could see the inevitable goals against. Maybe its just me but the coach has to do something to try and break that momentum. To me it was a major error to not use his time out to try and refocus the players after the second goal. Take a breath and refocus. If they were so tired that the 4th line was the only group with energy we have another problem. It's not like any of these forwards are playing 25 minutes a night.
What an abysmal third period. Maybe the worst of the season considering the circumstances. That did not look like a team taking a step forward.

Just finished the game. Some missed opportunities with all the PPs. Carlsson had a strong game. LaCombe played great as usual. Zegras brings a lot to this team.
Hard to justify Harkins and Leason with 3 minutes to go down a goal. It's one thing to send a message when the team has nothing to play for. But that was tough to watch. It's clear mismanagement. Losses happen, but the reasons why this is a loss point back to coaching.

Stat Card for the game has our top pairing in the top-5 of production, but the 2nd and 3rd pairings populate the bottom rungs. Everyone save Gudas had negative 'team defensive' ratings. Ouch!
Here is the reason why everyone on the team, except Gudas, had negative defensive ratings... High Dangers chances was Ducks 1: Sabres 16. The team left Dostal out to dry, but Dostal still posted over 0.900 Sv%!
