Without Couturier this team sucks.

Basically have 4 top 6 forwards, 6 top 9 forwards without him.

Score less, concede more... as Giroux line has to be burnt at both ends so are limited both offensively and defensively. Cant shield 3 lines in the NHL...

You're suggesting to swap Voracek out for Umberger. That is insanely stupid. Voracek on his worst day is still better than whatever the hell Umberger brings.

It wouldnt matter if Fred Shero or Scotty Bowman were our coach, we'd be in the same spot with this team

I was thinking that too, didn't want to say it cause I love Ghost, but I think it would be best for him to get traded to a decent team and develop properly. As opposed to be alongside with the piles of **** he has now.

Last year's. Thank God Berube is gone forever and ever and ever. This game was the norm last year, but with a healthier roster.

MacDonald has been in the AHL for MONTHS and is now on PK ****ING 1. That tells you all you need to know about this team. From minors to PK1. HAHA.

He barely PK'd there. And he played relatively easy minutes.

Hey, Simmonds won his fight and we're closer to a top pick. I never root for them to lose, but I'm realistic about this team's needs for the future.

Now let's just hope that Ghost can get a point, but that doesn't seem likely tonight.

Flyers are in a special type of sad zone.

Won't make the playoffs
Won't get a Top 5 pick
Nobody is playing well enough to trade.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of these guys are back next year, at least guys with contracts.

Streit is untradeable
MacDonald is untradeable
Schultz is untradeable
Umberger is untradeable

All 4 of these guys will be on this team next year (unless Umberger is bought out). But nobody is trading ANYTHING for these 4 barely NHL players.

Could be worse. We could have Vinny for another 2 years.

Where did I suggest that ? I said looks like he's with them ( for a shift or 2 ) , and he has earned any demotion he gets.
